Refund policy

 

At Antiocco, customer satisfaction is our priority. This policy has been prepared in accordance with Dutch law (Burgerlijk Wetboek) and EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Right of Withdrawal

(EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

In accordance with European Union consumer law, customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must submit the withdrawal request via email within this 14-day period, and the request must contain a clear and explicit statement of the customer’s decision to withdraw from the purchase contract.

Effects of Withdrawal

  • Once the withdrawal request is approved:

    • The customer must return the product within 14 days after notification.

    • The customer bears the direct cost of return shipping, unless otherwise stated.

    • Antiocco will refund all payments received for the returned product(s), excluding delivery costs, within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or proof of shipment. The customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.

    Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Return Conditions

Returned products must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused, unwashed, unworn (except for brief fitting)

  • Original tags attached

  • Original packaging intact

  • Free from damage, stains, odors or alterations

  • All promotional items (gifts, campaign products) included

Hygiene exception (EU-compliant):

  • Jewelry may only be briefly tried on for fitting purposes.

  • Jewelry worn beyond a short try-on period (e.g., worn all day or multiple days) cannot be returned.

  • Antiocco reserves the right to refuse returns where hygiene seals or usage standards are violated.

Non-Returnable Products

The following items are excluded from the right of withdrawal, in line with Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • Underwear

  • Personal care products

  • Opened cosmetics

  • Jewelry worn beyond a brief try-on

  • Products damaged by the customer

  • Products with missing parts, tags or packaging

  • Items returned without required promotional materials

Fraudulent returns (e.g., empty boxes) will be rejected and returned at the customer’s expense. Antiocco reserves the right to take legal action in cases of abuse.

If a return is rejected, the customer must arrange re-shipment of the product within 14 days. If the product is not collected within this period, Antiocco reserves the right to charge reasonable storage and handling fees or dispose of the item in accordance with applicable law.

Return Shipping

  • Returns must be shipped using a carrier chosen by the customer

  • Antiocco is not responsible for loss or damage during return shipment. The customer remains responsible for the returned goods until they are received and inspected by Antiocco.

  • We strongly recommend using trackable shipping

  • Return shipping costs are always the customer’s responsibility

Exchanges

  • Antiocco does not offer direct exchanges.

    To obtain a different item:

    1. Return the original product following this policy

    2. Place a new order separately

Refund Processing

Returned products must only be sent after return approval, and the official return address will be provided by Antiocco via email.

  • Returned items are inspected upon arrival

  • Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days

  • Original shipping fees and customs charges (if any) are non-refundable

  • Any refund dispute must be reported within 7 days of receipt

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrect product, contact us immediately upon delivery at: support@antiocco.com

Claims made after unreasonable delay may be rejected.

Limitation of Liability

  1. Antiocco is not liable for:

    • Damage occurring during return shipping

    • Delays caused by shipping providers

    • Loss resulting from incorrect return handling by the customer

Acceptance of Policy

By placing an order or submitting a return request, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full.
